Drama Club Wins National Award

The Eel Ground Drama Club has won a National Award for Excellence in Aboriginal Programming. This award program is supported by the Kaiser Foundation, Federal and Provincial governments and other national partners in order to recognize the selfless and outstanding work of individuals and organizations across Canada who are reducing the harm associated with addictive behaviour, substance use and mental health issues through their leadership, new ideas, research and education.
The award recognizes the students' and teachers' work in raising awareness of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and teen stress and suicide in plays and video productions.

Variety Show

The Eel Ground Drama Club is hosting a Variety Show on Thursday, Feb. 28th at the Eel Ground Community Center. The show will start at 7 PM and will feature over a dozen local musical performers. The cost of tickets is $10 and are available from school staff members or at the door.
