Robert Munsch Video Conference Huge Success

The students at Eel Ground were extreamly lucky today to have children's author Robert Munsch visit them via video conference. Students and teachers from Metepenagiag and Elsipogtog also participated. Mr. Munsch treated the students and teachers to several stories and he also took time to answer several of the students' questions.

Tomorrow morning at 10:00, the students of Eel Ground School will be participating in a video conference with Robert Munsch. In preparation of this event, several of our classes have been reading Robert Munsch books and completing art and writing projects based on his work. Everybody is really excited!

Welcome Back

Happy New Year! Welcome back to staff and students. We hope everyone had a great two weeks off (plus one storm day).
An update on some of the things that are happening around the school. The staff took on students in a game of floor hockey at lunch time on Wednesday. The staff won the game in a shoot out thanks to a goal by Stephanie (who was playing for the staff) and stellar goaltending by Mr. Gray. Speaking of hockey, congratulations to Bailey who has made the Northeast Moose AAA Hockey Team... Way to Go!
The Eel Ground School is also excited to announce that they will be having a video conference with author Robert Munsch on January 17th.
