Students Enjoy Successful Drama Fest


The Eel Ground Drama Club performed their play, The Simon Bishop Story, at the New Brunswick Provincial Drama Festival in Fredericton. The play won five awards:
  • Outstanding Use of Costume

  • Outstanding Teacher Director For Adapting a Community Tragedy into a Theatrical Lesson

  • Outstanding Choice of Material

  • Special Adjudicators Mention for Thoughtful Portrayal of Sensitive Subject Matter

  • Outstanding Ensemble Work
Congratulations to the students and staff involved in the production.

We will be enjoying your play on May 9 with 14 teens from Port Colborne Ontario. We love drumming but have not had the opportunity to hear Canadian drummers. Hope to meet you all then. Gail Stuart,Lucille, Rita.
